Water deficiency stress reduces yield in grain legumes, primarily due to a decrease the pods number. Melatonin (ML) and 24-epibrassinolide (EBL) are recognized for their hormone-like properties that improve plant tolerance abiotic stresses. This study aimed assess impact of different concentrations ML (0, 100, 200 µM) EBL 3, 6 on growth, biochemical, physiological characteristics chickpea plants under water-stressed conditions.
