Dragon fruits have abundant nutritional and antioxidant properties. High temperatures limit the growth production of dragon fruits. Hemin can effectively alleviate abiotic stress in plants. However, regulatory effect on fruit under heat remains unclear. In this study, we explored impacts foliar application size, yield quality during high summer season. experiment, variety ‘Jindu No. 1’ was used as material treated with three concentrations, i.e., H1: 1 μmol.L−1, H2: 10 H3: 100 compared CK: control. The results show that exogenous increased single weight, yield, shape index edible rate. It also improved pericarp L* value, a* C* decreased ho, improving peel colour; enhanced soluble solids content phenolic compounds enzyme activities pulp fruit. addition, chlorophyll stems. Differential metabolites determined by metabolomic assay indicated significantly active substances such selagin. Additionally, treatment H2 activated activity enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate (APX), which helps to mitigate effects current findings strongly advocate may counteract adverse regulating morph-physiological traits.
