Participants that completed Rose Angina Questionnaire included categorised as or no angina. Subjects valid CT angiography (CCTA) by degree of atherosclerosis; ≥50% obstruction (obstructive atherosclerosis), <50% any atheromatosis (non-obstructive atherosclerosis) none (no atherosclerosis). Background Heart failure (HF) significantly impacts healthcare systems due to high rates of hospital bed utilization and readmission rates. Chronic HF often leads frequent hospitalizations recurrent exacerbations a decline in patient health status. Intravenous (IV) diuretic administration is essential for treating worsening HF. Emerging strategies include home-based IV therapy administration; however, limited practical implementation guidance available. This scoping review aims summarize the literature on home patients, focusing interventions’ characteristics, facilitators barriers its implementation. Methods followed framework proposed by Arksey O’Malley PRIMSA-ScR. A comprehensive search was conducted across six databases (CINAHL, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, MEDLINE, PsychINFO Scopus) grey identify English studies from inception April 13, 2024. Two independent reviewers screened articles resources inclusion data extracted using form created authors Covidence. Results The yielded 2,049 results, with nine meeting criteria. Studies varied design, including feasibility, pilot, observational, pre/post-intervention evaluations. majority were European countries, sample sizes ranging 12 96 patients receiving diuretics Key challenges appropriate selection, cannulation competency providers, multi-disciplinary multi-agency collaboration. Conclusions Evidence practices management remains limited. However, this suggests that commonalities could basis developing standard protocols outpatient settings. Despite lack formal evidence-based guidelines, findings also suggest tailored, community-specific approaches safe infusion documents enhance efficacy scalability therapy. Future research should focus refining these exploring escalation methods beyond traditional acute care optimize outcomes.
