Background/Objectives: In recent decades, the need for sustainable alternatives to traditional foods global population has become urgent. To this aim, edible insects, cultivated meat, and vegetables produced through soil-less farming have been proposed. This cross-sectional study was aimed at exploring willingness eat these novel its possible correlates in young Italian adults. Methods: An electronic questionnaire administered student populations of 13 universities throughout territory. Results: The results show that insects meat were widely acknowledged as food, while soil-free cultivation seems be less known. Indeed, percentage participants who heard respectively equal 91.5%, 84.7%, 32.9%. Abstract Given the numerous evidence demonstrating influence of emotions in engaging risky behaviors, it seems inevitable to consider new approaches that promote healthy lifestyles. This study examines relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and unhealthy lifestyles among undergraduate university students Southern Italy, since a correlation EI harmful health behaviors has been postulated. The present cross-sectional was conducted over 18-year-old using an online, anonymous, self-administered questionnaire. Socio-demographic characteristics, tobacco use, nicotine dependence, alcohol consumption, skipping breakfast were investigated. Nearly third sample current smokers (30.9%). Problematic drinking shown 9.9% students. Almost one-fourth (23.1%) reported ≥ 3 days week. Emotional clarity total scores significantly lower with moderate/high dependence. revealed scores. Breakfast skippers showed attention interconnectedness potential for one behavior lead or predict another also shown. findings provide useful insights develop evidence-based strategies empower young adults choose health-promoting lifestyle. figures suggest learning interventions could support this goal.

Introdução: A cafeína é consumida globalmente e está presente em diversas fontes alimentares, como café, chá, refrigerantes bebidas energéticas. O consumo moderado de pode ser benéfico, mas o uso excessivo causar intoxicação efeitos adversos diferentes sistemas do corpo. objetivo deste estudo foi discorrer sobre as principais causas impactos por estudantes da graduação. Desenvolvimento: impulsionado diversos motivos, principalmente melhorias cognitivas, a redução fadiga, aumento concentração, aprimoramento manutenção desempenho acadêmico. Por outro lado, buscado os potenciais benefícios fisiológicos à saúde, visto que relacionado prevenção doenças. No entanto, resultar adversos, tanto agudos quanto crônicos, assim como, afetar negativamente memória sono. combinação com outras substâncias, álcool, tabaco ou drogas ilícitas, intensificar riscos saúde. Considerações finais: Estudantes universitários constituem um grupo propenso ultrapassar doses recomendadas enfrentar significativos. Assim, necessidade educação limites seguros associados essas substâncias se torna ainda mais premente.

Abstract Objectives Due to lack of information and deceptive advertising, young people widely consume energy drinks, although they should be careful because their contents. Energy drinks contain high amounts caffeine, sugar, other additives that can stimulate the body. They cause irritability, anxiety, insomnia increase heart rate, blood pressure respiratory rate. Aim this research was study consumption among medical university students in Kazakhstan. Methods Cross-sectional conducted. A web-based questionnaire used collect information. Students enrolled various courses at university, including interns residents, were invited participate. total 764 respondents took part survey. Results Among trainees, 41.4 % had consumed caffeinated past six months, time survey, 16.2 these drinks. Respondents who do not drink alcohol are 3 times (p<0.001) more likely use compared those alcohol. Those exercise 4.7 active athletes. Participants months 1.8 drank them. Conclusions Consumption by temporarily physical mental performance, improve mood raise levels, while same time, also come with serious health risks. Therefore, educating about potential risks importance a healthy lifestyle is essential.

As the Internet has undergone a significant increase, smartphone become primary electronic device used for accessing it. However, several adverse effects on health and also psychological disorders, such as fear of not being able to use mobile phone and/or its services, called nomophobia, may be related their use. This multicenter study was aimed at evaluating prevalence, correlates predictors nomophobia in large sample university students recruited throughout Italian territory. Students attending 12 universities were asked complete web-based questionnaire investigating sociodemographic behavioral characteristics including Nomophobia-Questionnaire, items from Generalized Anxiety Disorder Patient Health Questionnaire. out 1303 respondents (mean age 24.1 ± 4.4, 69.5% females), 454 (34.8%) showed medium/severe profile which seems with attention diet (PR 0.831, 95%CI 0.715–0.966, p = 0.016), physical activity levels 0.799, 0.682–0.934, 0.005), alcohol consumption 1.290, 1.010–1.647, 0.042). Furthermore, slightly predisposition anxiety (rho 0.2312, < 0.001) depression 0.0699, 0.0116). The results indicated that examined is associated unhealthy behaviors, then this finding suggested awareness control risks phones should increased population examined.
