Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) continues to pose a substantial global health challenge due its high incidence and limited therapeutic options. In recent years, the Janus Kinase (JAK) Signal Transducer Activator of Transcription (STAT) pathway has emerged as critical signaling cascade in HCC pathogenesis. The review commences with an overview JAK/STAT pathway, delving into dynamic interplay between numerous upstream activators, such cytokines growth factors enriched pathogenic livers afflicted chronic inflammation cirrhosis. This paper also elucidates how persistent activation leads diverse oncogenic processes during hepatocarcinogenesis, including uncontrolled cell proliferation, evasion apoptosis, immune escape. context implications, this summarizes advancements targeting for treatment. Preclinical clinical studies investigating inhibitors modulators are discussed, highlighting their potential suppressing deadly disease. insights presented herein underscore necessity continued research promising avenue therapy.
