Recently, we and others have demonstrated the involvement of Zinc Finger Antisense 1 (ZFAS1) in cancer development. However, intricate interplay ZFAS1 with miRNAs mRNAs remains to be fully understood. We followed PRISMA guidelines retrieve assess available literature on topic "ZFAS1/miRNA/mRNA axis" "Cancer" from databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect. also used bioinformatic webtools for analyzing potential miRNA targets its role survival patients along their various biological functions pathways. Our search analysis reveals that serves a sponge numerous miRNAs. Among targeted miRNAs, miR-150-5p stands out significantly correlated across multiple (p-value = 3.27e-16, R-value -0.346). Additionally, our Kaplan-Meier indicates noteworthy association between expression levels overall poor prognosis rates ovarian, sarcoma, pancreatic cancers. underscore signaling pathways, including Signal Transducer Activator Transcription 3 (STAT3), Spindle Kinetochore-associated Protein (SKA1), Lysophosphatidic acid receptor (LPAR1), Wnt β-catenin, development through ZFAS1/miRNAs/mRNAs axis. Furthermore, identify ZFAS1's pivotal roles diverse molecular processes, RNA binding ribonucleoprotein formation. In conclusion, this review comprehensively summarizes latest advancements understanding regulatory relationships among ZFAS1, mRNAs, emphasizing collective propose innovative avenues treatment. believe relationship ZFAS1-miRNA-mRNA axis may yield therapeutic effective management.
