Herbicides are the most widely used agrochemicals in crop protection, which has led to serious environmental pollution around world, including soil ecosystems. It is important look for new solutions that lead an improvement quality, even if only through use of hydrogels. The aim this study was therefore determine effect sodium alginate on microbiological and biochemical properties sulcotrione-treated soil. found both herbicide had a significant environment. An amount 10 g kg−1 applied soil, while sulcotrione following amounts: 0.00 (C), 0.200 (R), 0.999 (5R), 9.999 mg (50R). Sulcotrione stimulated activity dehydrogenases, catalase, arylsulfatase, β-glucosidase inhibited activities alkaline phosphatase, acid urease as well proliferation organotrophic bacteria, actinobacteria, fungi. This caused increase colony development index (CD) bacteria fungi decreased value actinobacteria. also increased ecophysiological diversity (EP) addition numbers urease, arylsulfatase. hydrogel different effects activity. Acid phosphatase showed decrease after Under influence alginate, there actinobacteria fungi, were decreases microorganisms enzymatic changed over time enriched with without its addition. may be useful evaluating effectiveness improving quality exposed sulcotrione.
