In the manufacturing industry, timely order fulfilment from diverse customers is important for operational profitability, given constraints of limited production capacity. This paper proposes a novel queueing system system, in which processing times are categorised as regular or rush based on customer preference. The proposed employs variable service rates and strategies conjunction with staggered to deal heterogeneous arrivals. We compute steady-state probability distribution develop performance indicators. lower upper bounds expected sojourn time orders derived. Numerical results show that an appropriate switching policy can reduce by approximately 35% while increase less than 10%, demonstrating significant improvement management. formulate multi-objective optimisation problem implement NSGA-II algorithm obtain Pareto optimal solutions. Finally, three regression models determine minimum cost associated rates, maximum acceptable value number orders. established explain at least 80% dataset solutions thus our numerical findings provide useful guidance decision-makers managers.

Abstract Integration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC) systems can improve the real-time performance for various industrial internet things (IIoT) applications. Designing an intelligent resource allocation system is one challenges posed by energy-constrained UAV system. Therefore, we formulate a sum rate maximization problem, subject to UAVs’ energy optimizing blocklength power control jointly in uplink UAV-assisted URLLC systems, which probabilistic channel model between users adopted. The problem difficult solve due non-convex objective function constraints, also challenging make fast decision complex environment. Thus, propose deep reinforcement learning (DRL)-based scheme optimize jointly. First, transform original into multi-agent process, where each subcarrier regarded as agent that optimizes its individual control. Then, makes obtain maximum reward value depending on weighted segmented function, related consumption user rates performance. Finally, simulation results show proposed outperforms benchmark schemes has stable convergence different settings, such rate, error probability, spacing, number users.

This paper concentrates on the scheduling problem in seru production system (SPS), which is a new-type advanced with high manufacturing flexibility to response volatile market. Motivated by practical scenarios, this considers sequence-dependent setup time and release date minimize total weighted tardiness. A mixed integer programming (MIP) model formulated, branch-and-bound (B & B) algorithm combining dominance propositions lower bound strategy designed subsequently. Finally, computational experiments are conducted. series of experimental results show that proposed B performs very well finding high-quality solutions, it can find exact near-exact solutions for 216 randomly generated instances quickly. Even when CPLEX unable solve problems five-hour, return optimal as many 5 serus 22 products short CPU time.
