Abstract Purpose Cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) causes a wide range of unmet needs for cancer survivors. It is unknown which clinical, demographic, cognitive, and psychological factors underpin account these various needs. This study aimed to ( ) identify associated with CRCI-related needs, b establish the most pertinent that Methods Four hundred fifty-six n = 456) survivors responded demographic clinical questions, as well measures (MASCC COG-IMPACT), perceived (PROMIS-COG), distress (DASS-21). Descriptive statistics, bivariate correlations, feed-forward multiple regression analyses were completed. Results Cognitive severity r 0.39 0.59; p < 0.01), 0.36 0.58; time since diagnosis − 0.11 0.20; 0.05 0.02) significantly across all domains. Breast cancer remains a significant global health issue, affecting both humans and companion animals, particularly female dogs cats, where mammary tumors are among the most common cancers. Strategies to minimize impact of this disease on patients, pet owners, veterinary medicine essential. This study analyses effects resistance training development chemically induced in Wistar rats, divided into four groups: sedentary control (CTR), (CTR+N-methyl-N-nitrosourea (MNU)), exercised (EX), (EX+MNU). The exercise protocol involved ladder climbing three times week for 18 weeks with load progressively increasing. At study’s end, blood histopathological samples were collected analyzed. Although tumor onset occurred two earlier incidence was slightly higher group (EX+MNU) compared (CTR+MNU), mortality rate lower, malignancy not as aggressive. No systemic inflammation observed, levels albumin, C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin 6 (IL-6) MNU groups remained similar controls. Exercise has been shown promote overall by increasing physical fitness, boosting immunological function, improving metabolic health. These findings may offer valuable insights potential role managing animals. However, further research is required assess clinical applicability establish safe effective protocols oncology.
