Abstract Over the last four decades, research on DNA as a functional material has primarily focused its predictable conformation and programmable interaction. However, low energy consumption, high responsiveness sensitivity also make it ideal for designing specific signaling pathways, enabling development of molecular computers. This review mainly discusses recent advancements in utilization nanotechnology computer, encompassing applications storage, cryptography logic circuits. It elucidates challenges encountered application process presents solutions exemplified by representative works. Lastly, delineates opportunities within this filed.
