Power load forecasting is an important part of modern smart grid operation management. Accurate guides the efficient and stable power system. In this paper, a fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm improved locally weighted linear regression model are proposed for short-term forecasting. First, used to cluster load. Make consumption behavior data same category similar use as training sample. Then, solve problem large calculation insufficient fitting model, k-nearest neighbor range constraint introduced into daily Finally, effectiveness method verified by simulation example. Experimental results show that can effectively improve accuracy generalization ability compared with other methods.
