This study delves into the application of Shannon entropy to analyze long-term variability in climate data, specifically focusing on precipitation and temperature. By employing data from 1901 2010 across 377 catchments worldwide, we investigated dynamics variables using generalized extreme value (GEV) distribution measures. The methodology hinged robust bootstrap technique accommodate inherent uncertainties climatic enhancing reliability our estimates. Our analysis revealed significant trends values, suggesting variations unpredictability complexity behavior over past century. These were critically assessed non-parametric tests discern underlying patterns potential shifts extremes. results underscore profound implications understanding aiding prediction future conditions. research not only confirms utility climatological studies but also highlights its complex chaotic systems. study’s findings are vital for developing adaptive strategies response evolving nature extremes, thus contributing more informed decision-making environmental management policy formulation.

ABSTRACT Agriculture plays an important part in the overall growth and development of a nation. Concerns about agriculture continue to be recalcitrant obstacle path upward movement. Although agricultural yields are increased, however, low‐ middle‐income countries still have difficulty producing all required foods with current state technology. Smart is becoming increasingly farmers as means ensuring optimal field higher crop yield. This systematic study analysed briefly explained effects using smart techniques (SATs) from variety countries, including China, United States America, Australia, India, Philippine Islands, South Africa, Pakistan Iran, among others. Increased climatic change resulting abiotic stress other harmful on plants resulted decreased productivity under traditional practices. Stats literature shown that launching SATs has significant increase cotton–wheat rice–wheat yields, resultantly increased incomes farmers. Application SATs, satellite remote sensing, drones, machine learning image processing, monitoring, wireless sensor networks, IoT–based robotics, precision agroforestry could extremely useful developing intelligent systems underdeveloped improved plant growth, high yield food security. These technologies help by storing additional water, spraying pesticides practicing employing sensors for assessing different environmental parameters. By making efficient use these technologies, able their crops, which, turn, will contribute reduction poverty elimination insecurity.
