Background: Cognitive impairment is a relevant problem in psychiatry and can be well assessed with cross-diagnostic test such as the Screen for Impairment Psychiatry (SCIP). The aim of our pilot study to assess cognitive acute psychiatric inpatients diagnosed psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder depression using German version SCIP (SCIP-G). We also investigate whether dysfunction improves over course inpatient treatment, where patients are offered combination pharmacological treatment remediation. Methods: A total 143 adult were included study. testing was performed two different forms SCIP-G. All received state-of-the-art pharmacotherapy remediation COGPACK® software package 6.06. Results: Based on ICD-10 Criteria Research, 54 given an F2 diagnosis (schizophrenia schizotypal delusional disorders). Thirty-nine met criteria (F30 F31) fifty (F32 F33). At baseline, significant difference observed between scores F32/33 (p < 0.001) F30/31 groups = 0.022). second measurement time point, score showed improvement all three 0.001), there no statistically interaction diagnostic 0.860). Conclusions: present disorders easily during hospital stay. In sample, more cognitively impaired at baseline than affective disorder. Inpatient consisting remediation, improved deficits. Patients similar improvements performance.
