Loess has the characteristics of loose, large pore ratio, and strong water sensitivity. This paper found that environmentally friendly guar gum biopolymers are helpful for stopping the erosion of basalt residual-soil shallow slopes, while also improving problems poor stability, difficult growth early vegetation, and weak initial resistance to rainfall scouring these slopes under extreme climatic conditions.
