Loess has the characteristics of loose, large pore ratio, and strong water sensitivity. Once it encounters water, its structure is damaged easily strength degraded, causing a degree subgrade settlement. The sensitivity loess can be evaluated by permeability disintegration tests. This study analyzes effects guar gum content, basalt fiber length on solidified loess. microstructure was studied through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) testing, revealing synergistic solidification mechanism fibers. A model established regression analysis with confining pressure, length. research results indicate that addition reduces loess, improves overall strength, resistance. When content 1.00%, coefficient rate soil are reduced 50.50% 94.10%, respectively. 12 mm, decreases 31.9%, 4.80%. good fitting effect suitable for predicting reinforced composite. vital theoretical worth great scientific significance guidelines practicing engineering.

This paper found that environmentally friendly guar gum biopolymers are helpful for stopping the erosion of basalt residual-soil shallow slopes, while also improving problems poor stability, difficult growth early vegetation, and weak initial resistance to rainfall scouring these slopes under extreme climatic conditions. Then, illustrate effects treatment, laboratory tests have been conducted, including a soil strength test, water retention absorption tests, disintegration simulated pattern its effect on vegetation has explored. The results indicate as content increases, both cohesion angle internal friction exhibit trend first increasing then decreasing; varies within range 21° 26°. evaporation rate, rate this gum-treated were significantly reduced, cracking surface layer was improved. is only about 2%, greater than 1%. Moreover, there no sign indicating germination affected by gum, meaning it maintains favorable environment grow. Guar gum-cured protected heavy washout conditions, with 94.85% reduction in total loss from slope compared untreated slopes. Since pores filled hydrogel, greatly enhanced. study will provide scientific basis engineering protection residual soils.
