Purpose Driven by the United Nations’ global call for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are under increasing stakeholder pressure to adopt green innovation. This study explores impact of on SMEs’ innovation adoption examines moderating role government support in achieving SDGs. Design/methodology/approach Through an online questionnaire survey, data were collected from 309 owners managers SMEs operating six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations. Using a combination judgmental snowball sampling techniques, analyzed SmartPLS4. Findings The findings confirm that (government, competitors, customers suppliers) significantly drives effectively contribute community environmental-related UNSDGs. This cross-cultural comparative study investigates the interplay between environmental sentiment among Greek Dutch Millennials, exploring how cultural differences influence these dynamics. Utilizing quantitative research methodology, analyzed responses from convenient sample of 426 participants across Greece Netherlands, employing measures such as multidimensional construct New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) scale to assess attitudes.
