In addressing global climate change and promoting economic growth, achieving a comprehensive carbon balance at the county level is vital for sustainable development. However, most studies focus on between emissions sequestration (CESB), neglecting intricate ecological (EECB) this scale. This study introduces an analytical framework that couples development with protection by using coupling coordination degree analysis, zoning, Markov-PLUS model. Taking Jiangxi Province as case study, we evaluate spatio-temporal dynamics of from 2000–2020 predict future trends 2030 under four potential scenarios. Results reveal significant regional variations in CESB over two decades, which primarily exhibit net emission. Meanwhile, continuous decline EECB highlights need balanced By 2030, land use's capacity expected to increase different scenarios, leading 'middle-high, sides-low' spatial pattern CESB. These findings are crucial policymakers devising strategies

Decarbonisation strategies are crucial for mitigating the adverse effects of climate change and achieving sustainable development. However, successful implementation these in developing countries remains a significant challenge due to resource constraints, competing development priorities, institutional barriers. This paper provides comprehensive overview decarbonisation efforts impacts through an extensive review existing research, reports, case studies. The research includes detailed examination initiatives, complemented by studies from seven industrialised (USA, EU27, Germany, Italy, France, Finland, Australia) six (China, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico, Kenya). These showcase practical illustrate current trends decarbonisation. findings underscore importance political will, financial resources, technological capacity, social acceptance as critical requirements countries. emphasises need international cooperation, capacity-building, aligning goals with broader socio-economic objectives ensure contribute meaningfully

Agriculture is the backbone of Somalia's economy, accounting for over 75% GDP and 93% total revenue. Using an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model covering period from 1990 through 2019, this study examines relationship between CO2 emissions agricultural productivity in Somalia. The analysis shows that (AGR), per capita renewable energy consumption (REC) significantly impact environmental degradation. In particular, higher are associated with lower degradation, emphasising importance sustainable practices. Conversely, initially increases possibly due to transition problems introducing new technologies. short-term results error correction (ECM) show a significant negative productivity, At same time, has positive impact. originality lies fact it focuses on particular context This region received less attention existing literature. proposes policy reforms promote land management strategies, including agroforestry, crop rotation conservation agriculture. These if implemented, will help restore soil health reduce deforestation caused by unsustainable practices, offering hopeful optimistic outlook future agriculture environment.
