As
climate
change
accelerates,
adapting
to
heat
stress
means
preventing
excess
deaths,
increased
healthcare
costs,
reduced
productivity,
and
damaged
infrastructure
buildings.
In
cities,
the
urban
island
effect
exacerbates
these
impacts.
Adapting
requires
action
by
a
multitude
of
actors
in
different
domains,
including
building
owners,
health
care
social
workers,
vulnerable
inhabitants.
While
there
is
research
on
adaptation
single
sectors,
significant
knowledge
gap
regarding
across
sectors.
To
contribute
bridging
this
gap,
we
answer
following
question:
what
extent
how
are
municipalities
Dutch
Province
Overijssel
mainstreaming
as
part
their
efforts?
question,
combine
action-oriented
employing
Institutional
Analysis
Development
Framework
municipality,
with
survey
conducted
among
15
located
same
province.
Our
identifies
two
major
challenges.
First,
implementation
remains
limited.
Second,
identified
challenges
mainstreaming,
namely
mismatch
between
responsibility
built
environment
vis-à-vis
sector,
lack
information
groups
that
makes
cross-sectoral
collaboration
more
difficult.
Thus,
which
being
mainstreamed
municipalities'
efforts
adapt
still
quite
limited
management
at
intersection

absent,
leaving
exposed.

kaynak
yetersizliklerinin
tespit
edilmiştir.

dostu
projeler,
atık
yönetimi
sera
gazı
emisyonu
azaltımı
gibi
alanlarda
daha
etkin
olabilmesi
için,
kurulması,
ulusal
düzeyde
işbirliği
sağlanması
yeterli
tahsis
edilmesi
gerekmektedir.
Ayrıca,
bölgesel
farklılıklar
göz
önünde
bulundurularak
dinamiklere
uygun
politikaların
geliştirilmesi
önem
taşımaktadır.
