Abstract The application of nanocatalysts for the conversion crude oil into biodiesel represents a promising strategy to mitigate environmental issues and diminish dependence on fossil fuels. This review scrutinizes contemporary developments in nanocatalyst technology pertaining synthesis, emphasizing effectiveness, specificity, ecological sustainability various nanocatalysts, which include metal oxides, magnetic solid catalysts, an array other nanostructured materials. These catalysts have exhibited substantial potential augmenting efficiency selectivity production, attributable their enhanced catalytic performance, extensive surface area, resilience saponification, rendering them appropriate diverse feedstocks such as recycled oils, animal fats, plant oils. Notwithstanding obstacles associated with production costs recycling procedures, recent progress economically viable manufacturing techniques sustainable recovery methods, including separation approaches, offers significant promise. A thorough lifecycle assessment (LCA) remains imperative appraise economic viability employing taking account parameters, raw material acquisition, energy utilization, waste generation. accentuates superior efficacy comparison traditional heterogeneous underscoring capacity expedite synthesis facilitate transition toward more environmentally paradigm.

Abstract The spray characteristics of a fuel greatly influence the combustion as it affects formation an air–fuel mixture, which directly impacts performance and emissions engine. This study investigates physical injection biofuels to optimize engine operating parameters for their effective utilization. For analysis pure diesel (D100), 80% diesel—20% biodiesel (D80B20), diesel—10% biodiesel—10% ethanol (D80B10E10), hydrous (D80B10HE10) are investigated. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling constant volume chamber under non-evaporative conditions is performed conduct numerical analysis. pressure 2 2.5 MPa nozzle diameter 0.126 mm, 0.15 0.2 mm considered simulations. variation in penetration length analyzed discussed different blends at initial conditions. It observed from results that high-density blend D80B20 has 10.695% 15.805% higher than D80B10HE10 blends, respectively. diesel, with increase increased by 20% 32%, respectively, MPa, decreased 14.62%. From this study, can be concluded like used blended form over ethanol. Compared ethanol, gives cost benefits better characteristics.

This study evaluates the compatibility and innovative applications of unmodified vegetable oils, including rapeseed, sunflower, linseed, castor, used cooking in production sustainable polymeric materials, particularly polyurethane adhesives. Fatty acid composition was characterized using GC-MS, functional groups were identified by FTIR, physicochemical properties, such as hydroxyl value, viscosity, density, measured conventional analytical techniques. The results highlight significant differences properties influencing their suitability for specific industrial applications. Castor oil, with its high ricinoleic content most suitable option bio-based polyols production. Compatibility tests confirmed that oils can be effectively blended polyols, ensuring stability homogeneity without chemical modification. approach simplifies production, reduces reliance on petrochemical feedstocks, advances development environmentally friendly Future research will focus optimizing formulations assessing long-term performance adhesives incorporating oils.
