Academic achievement reflects students' learning outcomes over a period of time and serves as crucial gauge student levels, well focal point societal interest. To investigate the impact teacher support on academic its mechanism action, this study introduces two mediating variables—academic self-efficacy emotions—to construct chain mediation model, conducts survey among 800 university students in Nanjing. The findings reveal that directly impacts achievement; mediates effect emotions also mediate there is relationship between achievement. This research elucidates achievement, providing theoretical foundation practical recommendations for enhancing performance students.

This chapter explores teacher perceptions of student engagement in the English Language Teaching classroom. Engagement is a multifaceted concept involving behavioural, cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions, influenced by classroom dynamics, cultural factors, teaching approaches. Based on semi-structured interviews with teachers working at private language school Malta, study highlights how they interpret foster through strategies that prioritise inclusivity sensitivity. It reveals insights into nuances engaging diverse students, emphasising significance teacher-student relationships, adaptive instructional methods, intrinsic motivation. Findings show positive relationships responsive enhance engagement, while integration technology culturally relevant materials supports dynamic inclusive learning environments. As technology becomes increasingly prevalent in education, artificial intelligence (AI) tools like Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) have emerged as significant resources academic settings. In this context, parents and educators play a crucial role ensuring students effectively use these while maintaining high motivation success. To explore relationship, study employed descriptive-comparative-correlational design to assess the level of learning motivation, perceived impact ChatGPT an assistance tool, performance senior school at Saint Mary’s University. By utilizing mixed-method approach, research combined quantitative data gathered via Likert scale with qualitative insights from open-ended question. Specifically, purposive sampling technique was used select 229 students. Analysis revealed that were motivated their studies ChatGPT’s positively tool. Moreover, notable variations observed across different sexes levels educational proficiency, well relative proficiency levels. Furthermore, moderately low positive correlation found between performance, very correlations noted both motivation. However, has limitations due its small sample size uneven distribution participants various strands tracks levels, which affected generalizability results. Future researchers should address for more comprehensive understanding topic. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the educational landscape, leading to adoption of virtual learning in Philippines. Purpose: This study aimed identify students' self-determination and academic motivation following their experiences transitioning face-to-face selected higher education institutions Quezon City, Methods: employed a Mixed-type research approach, specifically Sequential Explanatory Research Design, with sample size 148 nursing students District 5 City. Results: A high level was found among participants, correlating type family. Three subscales were identified regarding motivation: Mastery, Performance Approach, Avoidance. Participants displayed Mastery subscale, moderate Avoidance, lower Approach. established strong association between motivation, suggesting that student is likely be academically motivated, while can help develop self-determination. Qualitative analysis revealed three themes: Multifaceted Feelings, Transformative Shift, Relational Pillars, illustrating emotional complexities, physical psychological changes, crucial role support systems during transition. Conclusions: highlights importance considering understanding students’ transition learning. findings provide insights into this transition’s adaptive aspects, emphasizing interconnectedness personal relationships resilience.

The leadership structure within educational institutions has a significant bearing on teacher job satisfaction (TJS). This study employs data from the OECD’s Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS 2018) specific to Shanghai construct structural equation model that investigates how distributed (DL) impacts TJS in China. Findings reveal DL markedly positive effect of teachers Teacher self-efficacy (TSE) serves as an independent mediator this relationship, while collaboration (TC) does not mediate independently; nonetheless, both collaborate sequentially mediation pathway.
