Fruit waste in million tonnes is generated every year across the world. This often leaves an environmental footprint landfills and disposal sites when not carefully transformed into useful bioproducts. Based on synthesis of data evidences from most recent literature, this review presents sources nutrient composition fleshy fruit waste, also elaborates bioactive compounds found them. In addition, green chemistry principles for conversion which involve pre-treatment, drying, fermentation, extraction (solvent supercritical fluid), activation, transesterification, carbonization were particularly highlighted. The fact that high fibre, protein, carbohydrates, fat, phytochemicals other opens it up to multiple possibilities as biomaterials food supplement, medical, textile, livestock feed agro-allied industries. There are quite some proven advances improvements concerning valorization waste. However, due attention must be further given techniques indispensable remains biomass biorefinery approaches. Accordingly, more research innovation sustainable technologies still needed valorize such ways minimize generation hazardous or toxic substances entire system.
