This study explores using recycled waste glass and plastic fibers as substitutes for fine aggregates in concrete to meet the growing need sustainable building materials. The basic materials consist of OPC 43 grade locally obtained river sand. research incorporates powder from crushed beer bottles into mixture. Various tests, including slump, compressive strength (CS), split tensile (STS) assessments, are performed ascertain characteristics modified both its fresh hardened states. findings demonstrate a significant enhancement ease handling when is used, exhibiting surge 170% 270% mixtures, 15% 25% powder, respectively, compared conventional concrete. Although these reduces (19.95% SP15 21.39% SP25); significantly improved, with gains 35% 53.75% SP25. emphasizes feasibility integrating practical method building.

Water is an indispensable resource in the food sector, playing a critical role production processes. However, wastewater generation presents significant challenges, including opportunity to recover valuable resources. Wastewater reclamation within sector has emerged as crucial practice, offering potential benefits such economic efficiency, societal well-being, technological advancement, and environmental preservation. This study conducts systematic literature review (SLR) consolidate fragmented research provide comprehensive overview of current state sector. analyses 51 articles published between 2013 2025, sourced from Scopus Web Science database. The synthesizes existing organizes it into two primary dimensions: (1) factors influencing implementation industry (2) barriers associated with these practices. classifies five key domains: water consumption, generation, innovation, utilization, reuse It further highlights technical considerations addressing maximizing reclamation. paper contributes scientific understanding by proposing propositions that form novel interconnected theoretical framework. framework offers new insights complex dynamics management identifies emerging trends. underscores importance aligning technologies business objectives encourages policymakers implement robust standards facilitate sustainable

The threat of water scarcity and the progressing technology in sewage treatment plants promote reuse recycled wastewater. While practice itself is beneficial, there are still issues to be solved utilize its full potential. This study focuses on identifying bottlenecks or limiting factors implementing a building scale. An office was researched reveal usage pattern. introduces plant so can into usable freshwater. analysis indicates produced wastewater has not been fully utilized until now. volume demand greater than wastewater, several hinder total utilization reclaimed water. mostly more enough cover for both gardening toilet flushing, usages leave an excess other purposes. Because constraints quality, finance, public reception, yet optimally utilized. Firstly, quality very convincing used non-flushing human cooling towers. Secondly, high cost investment overhaul plumbing system (for old buildings) deters reusing Thirdly, many people have terrible perceptions about reused thus they would hesitate it even if technically fine. Published: Aug. 26, 2024

Significant global challenges, particularly in the areas of economics, society, and environment, are posed by urbanization. In this researcher-led study, we look at how Jordan is trying to bring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) life its capital, Amman, bringing urban laws line with these goals. The paper finds legislative flaws that prevent SDG incorporation through a thorough analysis Amman Building Regulation Act 2019. Some main points covered public participation, use renewable energy sources, sustainable construction practices, resilience areas, management natural resources. Although lot work has gone into it, shows if wants accomplish 2030 Agenda have growth future, it must overcome institutional legal barriers. As model for other cities facing similar challenge, being asked lead way localization more involvement, new laws, innovative resource management.
