The problem of long-term tightness oil and gas wells is extremely acute for the industry, both in terms efficient trouble-free operation wells, most serious environmental problems associated with leaks gushers at operating abandoned wells. article presents an up-to-date review experimental studies, promising traditional alternative technologies completing abandoning difficult thermobaric conditions or temperature other influences to activate control rheological properties cement compositions. When cementing geological conditions, industry faces creating plugs capable withstanding high pressures, temperatures loads. In this case it makes sense consider plugging based on self-healing regeneration effects, thermite compositions, eutectic metals, thermosetting resins polymers. Based analysis modern materials well sealants, author proposes a set key characteristics that slurry should have order be able its physical mechanical ability re-liquefy under influence temperature, pressure external factors.
