Sample preconcentration is a critical step in the analysis of trace organic pollutants environmental water. In recent years, solid-phase extraction based on functionalized magnetic nanoparticle (MNP) adsorbents has attracted wide attention because its advantages time, reagent, and labor savings, as well high efficiency. To improve selectivity, dispersibility, stability, reusability MNP adsorbents, various functional materials have been applied, including inorganic materials, carbonaceous compounds, metal–organic frameworks, bio-sorbents their hybrid forms. Here, application for persistent pollutant (POP) detection environment water from 2015 to 2019 reviewed. addition, synthetic routes, characteristics modification selective sorption mechanisms, analytical performance these are also discussed. The properties samples complicated effects efficiency POPs, improvements (MSPE) POP should be carried out with regard following four aspects: (1) development novel applicable adsorbents; (2) choice suitable techniques; (3) combination other (4) automation MSPE.

Tumors are unique and complex ecosystems, in which heterogeneous cell subpopulations with variable molecular profiles, aggressiveness, proliferation potential coexist interact. Understanding how heterogeneity influences tumor progression has important clinical implications for improving diagnosis, prognosis, treatment response prediction. Several recent innovations data acquisition methods computational metrics have enabled the quantification of spatiotemporal across different scales organization. Here, we summarize most promising efforts from a common experimental perspective, discussing their advantages, shortcomings, challenges. With personalized medicine entering new era unprecedented opportunities, our vision is that future workflows integrating modalities, scales, dimensions to capture intricate aspects ecosystem open avenues improved patient care.

In the present research, an ultrasound‐assisted magnetic solid‐phase extraction coupled with a gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry hybrid system was developed for extraction/determination of trace amounts polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in high‐consumption soft drinks and non‐alcoholic beers Iran using magnetite graphene oxide adsorbent. The characterized by scanning electron microscope, transmission microscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, vibrating‐sample magnetometer techniques. highest recovery (73.05%–95.56%) enrichment factor (90.65–106.38) were obtained at adsorbent mass: 10 mg, adsorption time: 30 min, salt addition: sodium chloride 10% w/v, desorption 20 eluent type: hexane: acetone (1:1, v/v), solvent volumes: 200 μl. Under optimum conditions, linearity range determination 0.2–200 ng/ml coefficient > 0.993, limit detection = 0.09–0.21 ng/ml, quantitation 0.3–0.7 relative standard deviation < 8.1%, respectively. Relative recoveries spiked real samples ranged from 94.67 to 109.45% 6.05%. proposed method is effective, sensitive, reusable it promising analysis residues environmental samples.

Sample pretreatment is an essential step in the analytical process. Solid phase extraction (SPE) procedures are widely used for clean-up and enriching analytes sample preparation due to complex matrix low concentration level of target compounds. The sorbent critical part plays a vital role SPE combination strategies green (GSP) with sorbents have been taken seriously establish high-performance environmental-friendly methods. This work mainly reviewed capacity different functional materials be as which fulfilled GSP requirements, including metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), natural products, carbon-based materials. Advanced computer-assisted synthesis usage also overviewed. Finally, recent advanced applications these adsorption procedure were summarized. review aims retrace latest research sorbents-based techniques under perspective GSP, suggesting future application should pose features less reagent energy usage, labor time consuming, high efficiency.
