ABSTRACT Effective planning of human resources is critical in designing an efficient home healthcare system. In this study, we present a novel staffing, routing, and scheduling problem inspired by real‐world application. The proposed addresses set patients, with varying daily visit requirements, being served caregivers different qualification levels over multi‐day multi‐shift horizon. aims to minimize the number extra shifts for caregivers, maximize allocation emergencies, sum route durations These objectives are optimized hierarchically while considering restrictions, including time windows, skill matching, synchronization, care continuity, labor regulations. To tackle problem, introduce mixed‐integer linear programming model. model then extended two sets valid inequalities incorporated enhance its tightness. Computational experiments conducted on 20 instances. results highlight efficiency extension increasing both instances that can be solved optimality which feasible solution found.

The aging population is placing pressure on the healthcare system, and private sector innovating through digitalization. Mobile applications for medical escort services (MA-MES) could become a sustainable tool, assisting adult children in scheduling escorts to accompany their elderly parents appointments. This creates new collaborative methods service processes services. research applies Unified Theory of Acceptance Use Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) model identify intentions use MA-MES parents. Data were gathered from 350 individuals age group 20 59 years analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). findings indicated that performance expectancy (PE), effort (EE), social influence (SI), price value (PV), perceived trust (PT) significantly increased behavioral (BI). Perceived risk (PR) mediated relationship between PT BI, while moderated effects BI. Cohabitation with SI proposes unique predict It provides insights enabling managers carry out continuous innovation MA-MES.
