Blockchain technology has promising benefits and provides robust solutions for managing business processes. While prior studies have primarily explored its potential in supporting logistics supply chain management, many practitioners still lack a clear understanding of how to leverage blockchain technology, hindering adoption within the industry. Bridging this gap addressing critical barriers requires further empirical research. This study adopts comprehensive approach, identifying through literature review validating their significance Index Item-Objective Congruence (IOC). The then delves into interrelationships among significant barriers, utilising Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) MICMAC methods. results highlight seven sector, encompassing government support, operational standards, top management limited public awareness, trust issues, technical challenges, network collaboration difficulties. Notably, awareness inadequate governmental support form fundamental obstacles that drive various challenges. research offers insights hinder successful logistics, proposing several mitigation strategies are line with principles open innovation.

Although the potential of blockchain has been extensively recognized by scholars and practitioners across multiple fields, research on its adoption in framework circular economy (CE) is still scarce. In this context, study extends technology acceptance model (TAM) integrating technology–organization–environment (TOE) to holistically understand how technological perception factors (perceived usefulness perceived ease use) interact with organizational environmental influencing intention adopt CE within context Chinese automotive supply chain. Based survey data from 305 respondents companies, proposed hybrid TOE-TAM conceptual was validated. The results indicate that, except for effects knowledge management capability use regulatory support intention, all other hypotheses are deemed significant. Moreover, conducting an in-depth analysis evolution CE, not only deepens understanding disseminated but also provides valuable insights theory practice value

Purpose Blockchain technology is one of the major contributors to supply chain sustainability because its inherent features. However, adoption rate relatively low due reasons such as diverse barriers impeding blockchain adoption. The purpose this study identify in sustainable and uncovers their interrelationships. Design/methodology/approach A three-phase framework that combines machine learning (ML) classifiers, BORUTA feature selection algorithm, Grey-DEMATEL method. From literature review, 26 potential were identified evaluated through performance ML models with accuracy f-score. Findings findings reveal algorithm detected 15 prominent barriers, random forest (RF) classifier performed highest Moreover, RF increased by 2.38% 2.19% f-score after removing irrelevant confirming validity algorithm. An ranked according ranking, financial constraints, immaturity, security, knowledge expertise, cultural differences resided at top list. Furthermore, a method employed expose interrelationships between provide an overview cause-and-effect group. Practical implications outcome can help industry practitioners develop new strategies plans for chains. Originality/value research on chains still evolving. This contributes ongoing debate exploring how decision-makers adopt technology, developing process.
