This study aimed to evaluate the effects of solid-state fermented commercial pelleted feed with Lactobacillus plantarum on growth performance, digestive physiology, antioxidant, and immune capacity, as well morphology microbiota in intestinal Tachysurus fulvidraco. A total 420 fish (49.96 ± 7.10 g) were randomly allocated twelve 300 L buckets for a 60 d farming trial. The diets three treatments established: untreated diet (UCD), mixed liquid (MFLD), (SSFD). results indicated that SSFD treatment had significant positive effect performance T. fulvidraco, an increase 15.69% 16.57% (p < 0.05) compared UCD MFLD treatments. also showed higher anti-oxygen catalase, glutathione peroxidase activities intestine significantly 0.05). Furthermore, alkaline phosphatase lysozyme both liver than villus height midintestine was greater Regarding microbiota, dominant bacteria Cetobacterium, highest abundance whole segments. However, treatments, Cetobacterium foreintestine decreased In conclusion, this elucidates fermentation may not only improve antioxidant ability, function, fulvidraco enhance but influence microbial composition. These findings provide beneficial proof developing

The whitespotted conger (Conger myriaster) is an ecologically and economically significant benthic marine species widely distributed across East Asia's coastal waters. Despite this importance, the genomic resources for remain limited, hindering evolutionary aquaculture research. Here, we present first high-quality chromosome-level genome assembly of C. myriaster using PacBio CLR, WGS, 10X Genomics Hi-C data. resulting 1.09 Gb exhibits excellent contiguity, with 97.49% sequences anchored onto 19 chromosomes. assembled achieved a BUSCO completeness stands at 98.00%, containing 34.80% repetitive 24,063 predicted protein-coding genes. This foundational resource overcomes major limitation, providing essential framework future investigations into adaptations genetic improvement in aquaculture.
