Improving teachers' competence in designing learning is essential for the quality of education. Many teachers struggle to develop effective lesson plans. This program aims enhance science junior high schools East Java through a hybrid workshop (offline and online) using Understanding by Design (UbD) approach. The target participants were members Science Teachers' Association (MGMP). program's effectiveness was assessed one group pre-posttest design, analyzed with raincloud plots, shift pretest-posttest scores evaluated histograms contingency tables. results showed that majority experienced improvement, 80% shifting higher performance categories. successfully assisted developing plans align student characteristics curriculum goals. long-term impact enhancement pedagogical content knowledge.
