This study addresses the potential impact of Lake Urmia on heavy metals (HMs) concentrations in air and soil northern region North West Iran, highlighting significant environmental health implications. The results showed different concentration levels for Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb) settled dust particles near Urmia, their exceeded recommended thresholds Cr Pb some areas. Spatial distribution analysis indicated that local factors significantly affect contamination patterns, emphasizing need targeted interventions. The employed enrichment factor (EF) assessment ecological risk (PER) index to identify pollution sources evaluate associated risks. moderate severe specific regions, particularly Cd. Health assessments suggest non-carcinogenic risks are generally below hazardous levels; however, concerns remain As exposure.Future studies should focus long-term trends, source apportionment methodologies, effects metal exposure develop effective management strategies. Collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches will be crucial mitigating protecting human health.

Vegetables with useful phytochemicals, vitamins, protein, carbohydrates, and minerals are nutritional sources play an important role in the prevention of many chronic diseases. However, vegetables contaminated potentially toxic elements caused by anthropogenic natural activities. Therefore, this study is first attempt to analyze 14 some most consumed Kastamonu province located Western Black Sea Region Turkey using ICP-OES for evaluation potential human health risks adults due via ingestion. The concentrations (μg/kg, dw) Fe, Al, Sr, Mn, Zn, Ti, Cu, Ni, Pb, V, As, Cr, Cd, Co analyzed sixty-nine samples belonging thirty-six different vegetable types varied from 3995 968073, 569 616664, 2730 144287, 843 51417, 268 34344,
