Abstract Soil pollution arises as a consequence of human activities, such agriculture, industrial projects, and mining. Toxic elements in the soil manifest form liquid metals. These particularly thermal power plants mining, constitute primary sources that surpass standard levels. Pollution around coal mines occurs result emission potentially harmful metals other pollutants into air, which then settle on soil. Potentially represent very important group environmental because they are potential metabolic inhibitors. The paper describes research focused presenting discussing data related to by near Stanari Mine Thermal Power Plant Republic Srpska, Bosnia Herzegovina. Ecological risk were assessed based concentrations selected (Fe, Mn, Pb, Ni, Cr, Zn, Co Hg) nine surface samples taken from sites plant Stanari. expended through two-years period (2018 2020). Various statistical measures mode, median, mean, deviation, coefficient variation, variance, skewness, kurtosis, Shapiro-Wilk test results have been provided for each element. Fe has highest mean concentration (23195 mg/kg) followed Cu, Hg. PCA analysis provides information relationship between two components, well amount variance variable is not explained these components.
