Recently, Electric Vehicles (EV) have been providing fast response and substantial progress in the power generation model. Further, EVs are exploited as adaptable Energy Storage Systems (ESSs) show a promising performance ancillary service markets to increase demand of Smart Grid (SG) integration. The expansion Vehicle-to-Grid concept has created an extra source when renewable energy sources not available. Yet, numerous operational problems still required be considered for EV implementation turn out extensive. Even development Photo-Voltaic (PV) technology creates problem SGs used charging. Because this, Management System (EMS) is handle charging requirements deal with intermittent generation. Here, this research, Improved Honey Badger algorithm (IHBA) proposed integrating parking lot, solar panels, dynamic loads at Point Common Coupling (PCC). IHBA uses programming method optimize Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) or discharging (V2G) profiles using forecasts PV This considers user preferences while also lowering reliance on grid maximizing SG effectiveness. study’s findings that efficient resolving issues involving large search spaces. developed which tested MATLAB obtain stable load profile. From evaluation obtained results, it evident controller outperforms WOA EHO controllers terms total harmonic distortion voltage (3.12%), loss (0.197 kW) efficiency (98.47%).

Large-scale energy storage systems (ESSs) that can react quickly to fluctuations and store excess are required increase the reliability of electricity grids rely heavily on renewable sources (RESs). Hybrid systems, which combine different technologies such as batteries supercapacitors, becoming increasingly popular because no single technology satisfy all requirements. In this study, a supercapacitor is used stabilize shifting bursts power, while battery gradually fluctuating power flow. This paper proposes robust controller for managing direct current (DC) bus voltage optimize performance ESS. The proposed combines fractional-order proportional integral (FOPI) with classical PI first time in DC microgrid area. hybrid (FOPI-PI) achieves an outstanding superior transient dynamic response specifications compared other traditional controllers. parameters suggested incorporated self-adaptive bonobo optimizer (SaBO) determine optimal values. Furthermore, various optimization techniques applied model SaBO’s output outperforms by minimizing best objective function. addition, study has utilized novel management strategy includes two closed loops both supercapacitors. By using method, batteries’ lifespans may be increased still retaining system performance. implemented MATLAB/Simulink 2022b, outcomes reported several case studies. findings demonstrate control technique remarkably improves response, duration, overshoot/undershoot, settling time. SaBO effective maintaining under load solar variation.

This research study presents a novel approach to enhance the efficiency and performance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESSs) within microgrids, focusing particularly on integration wind energy. The inherent inconsistency unpredictability Renewable Resources (RERs) necessitate development effective solutions accommodate them. Our article provides customized iteration metaheuristic algorithm referred as Contracted fitness-dependent optimizer. proposed methodology involves adaptive adjustment migration rates based habitat suitability indices, while also considering variations in perturbations. incorporation Lévy flight an elimination phase significantly enhances algorithm's efficacy problem-solving. In order establish superiority our strategy over alternative optimization approaches, we conduct simulations across diverse conditions subsequently compare outcomes. It was calculated that daily scheduling cost 235.2$ operational USD 268$. Scenario 3, total operating expenses arranging costs for 1 day, respectively, were determined be 165$ 115$. Further, highest depth discharge level around 77%. Moreover, −9.18 kW 23.02 maximum charging discharging power made. findings emphasize economic benefits associated with appropriately sized BESSs microgrid contexts. These advantages have potential battery longevity promote more sustainable energy systems.
