This study investigates the impact of industrial robot adoption on Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP) against backdrop increasing demand for both proliferation and green development utilizing urban panel data from Chinese cities spanning 2007–2019. Findings reveal that significantly improves GTFP, exerting its influence through mechanisms such as energy saving, technological innovation, scale output, linkages. Certain market factors moderate GTFP. Initially, regions reliant high-pollution industries resource-based experience minimal effects, which may diminish or even reverse GTFP improves. Additionally, positive robots is particularly noticeable in with advanced finance. research significant understanding connection between at level exploring pathways transformation.

Global climate change has necessitated a transition to sustainable development, prompting nations prioritize green total factor productivity (GTFP) as key indicator of economic and environmental efficiency. This study examines the role innovation network (GIN) in enhancing urban GTFP within China’s Yangtze River Delta (YRD)—a region pivotal national growth ecological sustainability. Using data from 41 cities spanning 2011 2020, we constructed GIN based on inter-city cooperative patents analyzed positions using social analysis (SNA). Urban was assessed through Super-SBM model, two-way fixed-effects panel models, along with threshold effect were applied evaluate impacts GTFP. The findings reveal that stronger significantly enhance GTFP, finance further amplifying this effect. These results provide actionable insights for policymakers developing countries, highlighting importance integrated strategies enhanced financial systems promote development.

The green utilization of urban land is a critical component regional high-quality development. Enhancing the efficiency (GUEUL) great significance to improving quality ecological environment and achieving lifestyle low-carbon production. With process urbanization, industrial structure constantly adjusted, which has an impact on utilization. Taking 43 cities in Bohai Rim region as example, super-efficiency slack-based measure model with undesirable outputs (super-SBM-undesirable model) was employed evaluate GUEUL from 2006 2021, panel quantile used explore GUEUL. results showed that appeared fluctuating upward trend 0.664 0.837 2021. High-value zones shifted western Liaoning province southern Shandong “C”-shaped belt around coastline expanded continuously, while low-value decreased significantly. Furthermore, influence significantly positive, but there were significant differences among different levels. Industrial upgrading exerted most effect improvement zones, rationalization dominant high-value technologization more medium-low-value zones. Therefore, differentiated adjustment policies should be formulated based actual condition each city improve

Abstract As China’s economy transitions, environmental issues have become a major concern. This study examines the impact of Ambient Air Quality Standards (AAQS) on urban air quality using panel data from 284 cities in China 2006 to 2019. The utilizes DID (Difference-in-Difference) models analyze regulatory effects AAQS and its spatial spillover. Additionally, serial multiple mediation are constructed investigate role green innovation. findings reveal that positively affects quality, albeit with notable “hysteresis effect.” Local implementation worsens neighboring within distance 400 km, but beyond effect is reversed. Heterogeneity analysis shows improves central cities, large-sized medium-sized weak governance, resource-based cities. Mechanism tests suggest may enhance by promoting innovation optimizing industrial structure. Especially, either energy-use or industrial-structure triggered can contribute improvement quality.
