In South Africa, diverse policy measures are continuously being taken by stakeholders to transform the education system into one with a greater focus on entrepreneurship. Despite these efforts, it was unclear what factors prevent anticipated results from attained. Thus, this study examined issues revolving around entrepreneurial leadership in Africa's basic sector. It followed PRISMA protocol, through systematic literature review, authors meticulously identified and filtered 94 pertinent studies within Web of Science (WoS) database, ultimately refining their 42 articles that directly contribute central theme study. Based study's findings, several weak links need be remedied for become ingrained as core ideology enhancement sustainability. The illuminates how incorrect assumptions about may impede innovative creative practices schools. Additionally, review provide an opportunity make vital contribution ongoing discourse regarding incisiveness definitions perspectives relating school setting. Furthermore, contend quality schooling sustainability can improved coordinated efforts enhance leaders' skills, therefore, collaboration between rural urban principals is proposed harness mutual benefits cross-institutional learning. Moreover, elucidates leadership-driven thoughts actions framework entrepreneurship-focused educational institutions.
