Energy poverty focuses on energy affordability in developed nations but is most often used the developing world context of a lack access to electricity, clean cooking fuels, or technologies. About 1.2 billion people still electricity and nearly 40 per cent world’s population lacks fuels. In addition, climate change mitigation strategies must be applied complex diverse socio-technical landscape that varies across within countries. among pressing issues addressed these strategies; however, due complexity its causes, there no commonly agreed upon evaluation approach holistic set indicators for quantitative evaluation. this study, comprehensive literature review undertaken measurement methods definitions, factors cause poverty. Through this, exogenous endogenous are overlooked assessment prediction identified. The need an framework identified, incorporating missing perspectives elements needed implement future projections enable proactive policy development.
