Purpose Electric vehicle (EV) adoption is crucial for addressing global sustainability challenges and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) net-zero emissions. However, adopting these vehicles in emerging nations slow lacks a comprehensive approach. This study aims to identify rank EV performance outcomes (POs) India, emphasizing key enablers. Design/methodology/approach proposes three-phase hybrid research framework. Phase 1 identifies 38 enablers across seven categories 15 POs. 2 assesses the relative significance of using spherical fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (SF-AHP). 3 ranks POs by applying technique order preference similarity ideal solution (SF-TOPSIS).
