Experiments were performed in laboratory and glasshouse to determine the allelopathic effect of crushed soaked leaf stem aqueous extracts Lantana camara L. on germination early seedling growth Oryza sativa. The extract both aboveground parts (leaf stem) with different concentrations (2.5%, 5%, 7.5% 10%) used compared control (distilled water). Seed germination, length, biomass, moisture content seed vigor index rice crop documented treatments. Maximum suppression other parameters i.e., length biomass recorded while, promoted at highest (10%) concentration. However, relative exhibited more inhibitory effects comparison treatment. Higher amount allelochemicals released from may be one reason variations while stimulatory measured plant traits possibly caused by increase nutrient concentration soil. Contrasted (C0), lower depicted promotion studied higher suppressed growth. Though analysis research allelopathy is highly significant, a field study suggested confirm impacts cropland ecosystems various conditions. This will play role understanding underline causes physiological processes involved consequences species agriculture.
