Ecotourism in Saudi Arabia (KSA) is gaining significant attention due to the country’s diverse natural landscapes, rich biodiversity, and efforts preserve display its environmental treasures. This study presents a comprehensive assessment of urban green space (UGS) suitability Taif region using geographic information system (GIS) combined with multiple-criteria decision-analysis-based analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The integration various morphologic, topographic, climatic, land use/land change (LULC) maps provided robust framework for evaluating UGSs. In this study, ten criteria were used elaborate on UGS suitability. results indicate that distance water, road, rainfall, LULC most influential determining Distance road emerged as criterion, emphasizing importance accessibility visibility attracting public spaces. demonstrated fair development across 56.4% total area. However, large areas barren central northeastern parts rendered unsuitable development, while southwestern part showed higher percentages good excellent highlights considering awareness aspects planning, it serves visual reminder value nature settings. obtained by research may help managers decision makers future planning GI region.

Beijing Plain is an important region for ecological planning and management. In the past decade, human activities have dramatically changed spatial landscape patterns of greenspaces in Plains. However, very few studies assessed main causative factors these changes. Herein, we analyzed Plains between 2015 2020 using multi-source remote sensing data, geographical information system, pattern index. Additionally, utilized gray correlation analysis to quantitatively analyze contributing dynamic changes greenspace patterns. We found that showed a gradual increase annually from 2020. Further, conversion types throughout study period mainly included interconversion woodland cropland, water, impervious surfaces. The transfer out woodlands has been decreasing while increasing. Grassland shrubs were almost entirely converted into other land use types. fragmentation overall reduced, aggregation increased, patches tended be fully distributed, connected, simpler, concentrated, regular. advantages landscapes gradually becoming more evident. Population urbanization, rapid economic growth, policies affecting findings provide scientific reference adjust structure, transform upgrade existing greenspaces, ensure sustainable development cities.

Pakistan has experienced significant urbanization, characterized by rapid urban population growth and unplanned expansion, making it the most urbanized country in South Asia. This study focuses on Lahore, secondlargest megacity of Pakistan, evaluates land cover changes over last three decades (1990-2020). It also analyzes relationship between green landscapes unregulated expansion. The reveals ecology Lahore’s landscape using Landsat imagery, including 5 TM, 8 OLI, a 30m spatial resolution, along with data from Bureau Statistics. In particular, decline spaces expansion built-up areas Lahore. annual area rates were 24.2 km2 (1990- 2000), 12.1 (2000-2010), 26.4 (2010-2020), while vegetation decreased 33.45 (1990-2000), 20 (2000-2010) first two but slightly increased 2010 to 2020 at an rate 14.17 km2. As result, there is serious concern about space recommended that administrative authorities follow World Health Organization’s guidelines regarding need for spaces. contributes achieving United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 11th, indicator 11.3.1, provides conserving natural, social, economic resources face urbanization.
