Ecotourism

comprehensive
assessment
of
urban
green
space
(UGS)
suitability
Taif
region
using
geographic
information
system
(GIS)
combined
with
multiple-criteria
decision-analysis-based
analytic
hierarchy
process
(AHP).
The
integration
various
morphologic,
topographic,
climatic,
land
use/land
change
(LULC)
maps
provided
robust
framework
for
evaluating
UGSs.

this
study,
ten
criteria
were
used

UGS

Beijing
Plain
is
an
important
region
for
ecological
planning
and
management.
In
the
past
decade,
human
activities
have
dramatically
changed
spatial
landscape
patterns
of
greenspaces
in
Plains.
However,
very
few
studies
assessed
main
causative
factors

changes.
Herein,
we
analyzed
Plains
between
2015
2020
using
multi-source
remote
sensing
data,
geographical
information
system,
pattern
index.
Additionally,
utilized
gray
correlation
analysis
to
quantitatively
analyze

dynamic
changes
greenspace
patterns.

found
that

a
gradual
increase
annually
from
2020.

conversion

throughout
study

woodland
cropland,

impervious
surfaces.

woodlands
has
been
decreasing

increasing.
Grassland
shrubs
were
almost
entirely
converted
into
other
land
use
types.

Pakistan
has
experienced
significant
urbanization,
characterized
by
rapid
urban
population
growth
and
unplanned
expansion,
making
it
the
most
urbanized
country
in
South
Asia.

study
focuses
on
Lahore,
secondlargest
megacity
of
Pakistan,
evaluates
land
cover
changes
over
last
three
decades
(1990-2020).

landscapes

expansion.
