Abstract
Beta
diversity
has
been
widely
used
in
studies
to
understand
the
spatial
distribution
patterns
of
species
and
assess
effects
anthropic
impacts
on
aquatic
environments.
Dissimilarity
indices,

Sorensen
Jaccard,
are
calculate

diversity,

Abstract
Freshwater
ecosystems,
under
the
influence
of
human
activities,
are
subject
to
multiple
environmental
stressors
that
lead
biodiversity
loss,
and
habitat
modification.
In
recent
years,
different
various
organisms
have
been
used
as
bioindicators
detect
changes
by
their
ability
perceive
in
community
attributes.
A
good
example
is
semiaquatic
bedbugs
Gerromorpha
infra
order
act
predators
sensitive
subtle
conditions.
Our
research
aimed
investigate
responses
communities,
genera
species
along
an
gradient

Amazon
streams.
The

assessed

Habitat
Integrity
Index
(HII)
across
sampled
streams,
yielding
a
collection

representing
three
families,
seven
genera,

species.
