Waterborne bacteria pose a serious hazard to human health, hence precise detection method is required identify them. A photonic crystal fiber sensor that takes into account the dangers of aquatic has been suggested, and its optical characteristics in THz range have quantitatively assessed. The PCF was designed examined as computed Comsol Multiphysics, program which uses “Finite Element Method” (FEM). At 3.2 operating frequency, proposed performs better than others all tested cases, with high sensitivity 96.78% for Vibrio cholera , 97.54% E. coli 97.40% Bacillus anthracis. It also very low CL 2.095 × 10 −13 dB/cm 4.411 −11 1.355 anthracis . existing architecture potential produce efficiently scalable, opening door commercial applications. innovation optimization structural parameters increase fiber’s bacterial presence, thereby improving interaction between terahertz waves cells. targets macromolecule absorption peaks sensitivity. Localized field augmentation, concentrates vibrations where interact more, may arise from optimization. By scattering, alterations can help by their characteristic scattering patterns. These improvements improve sensor’s trace detection. factors germ when combined. In aqueous environments, this results more efficient detection, could facilitate real-time monitoring contamination. Public health water quality control be significantly affected these developments.
