Hand orthoses are often recommended as a rehabilitation measure for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, existing research on the efficacy of hand has predominantly focused 3D-printed devices and post-intervention clinical functional assessments, which tend to be subjective. There is notable lack biomechanical studies evaluating effects wearing orthoses. Therefore, in this study, finite element method was used analyze properties an RA hand. A orthosis designed based principle three-point force, composite model constructed verify its effectiveness. The results showed that peak stress displacement were 3.22-183.21% 28.81-124.23% higher than those normal Compared under direct after generally reduced by 3.05-55.60%, 20.35-71.43%, verifying effectiveness orthosis. Additionally, variations magnitude forces influenced orthopedic effects. This study proves provides some theoretical data subsequent treatment arthritis.
