This research aims to design a novel selective and multifunctional adsorbent based on Al/Cu modified hemp fibres as for removing different classes of pollutants. The adsorbent, which was widely characterized, shown be more effective in anionic dyes compared cationic ones. Among the tested dye, methyl orange selected understand how parameters, such temperature (20-80°C), contact time, pH (2-12), initial dye concentration (50-300 ppm), salinity dosage (1-10 g/L) affect removal capacity. Langmuir model greatly describes adsorption data with q

Graphene oxide (GO), a pivotal derivative of graphene, has revolutionized nanotechnology with its tunable physicochemical properties and interdisciplinary applications in energy storage, environmental remediation, biomedicine. Despite exponential research growth, existing reviews remain fragmented, lacking holistic insights into evolving synthesis–application linkages, global collaboration patterns, emerging convergence trends. This study bridges these gaps through scientometric analysis 14,124 peer-reviewed articles (2022–2025) from the Web Science Core Collection, utilizing CiteSpace for co-occurrence network mapping, burst detection, cluster analysis. Key findings reveal (1) thematic shift traditional synthesis optimization (e.g., Hummers’ method) toward driven material design sustainable like GO membranes water purification; (2) China’s dominance publication output (38.5%) contrasts U.S. Europe’s leadership collaborations; (3) journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal (centrality: 0.25) clusters “circular economy” signal transformative priorities; (4) critical scalability, ecological safety, cost-effective production hinder industrial translation. work provides roadmap aligning sustainability goals, fostering partnerships, accelerating innovations scalable nanotechnology.

Abstract A quaternary composite adsorbent of chitosan-polyvinyl alcohol/food grade algae/ montmorillonite clay (CS-PVA/FGA/MMT) was synthesized by hydrothermal process to be a promising for the removal cationic methyl violet 2B dye (MV 2B). The adsorption working variables including CS-PVA/FGA/MMT dosage (A: 0.02–0.1 g/100 mL), pH solution (B: 4–10) and contact duration (C: 20–480 min) were optimized using response surface methodology with Box-Behnken design (RSM-BBD). optimal conditions key parameters confirmed desirability function test identified 0.099 mL 8. equilibrium studies revealed that MV on follows Langmuir isotherm model pseudo-second-order kinetic model. highest capacity towards determined 105.7 mg/g at 25 ⁰C based parameters. suggested mechanism can assigned various possible interactions such as electrostatic forces, n-π stacking, H-bonding. This study shows material possesses unique structure preferable capabilities dye. Therefore, it offers practical removing harmful dyes from contaminated wastewater.
