The use of natural fibers has seen a significant rise in the composites sector, resulting creation polymer with exceptional strength. These environmentally-friendly alternatives offer compelling substitute for synthetic composites. This study explores date palm waste as reinforcement fabrication polyvinyl chloride (PVC) A surface modification method was essential improving binding interaction between and PVC two-hour benzoyl treatment at 140 °C played crucial role. examined effects hydrothermal aging on mechanical properties composites, using various techniques such morphology analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric Analysis, made untreated those treated chloride. Although fiber-reinforced improved their properties, it is to note that reduced tensile strength by 10%. Despite this, these prove be well-suited applications requiring moderate stiffness mild environmental conditions. while utilizing treatment, still represent more sustainable alternative traditional incorporating renewable enhancing which potentially reduces overall impact.

Straw, the primary agricultural waste, constitutes approximately 20% of total biomass in EU. Only a small fraction material is applied various products, e.g., animal bedding, mulch, building, and composite materials, while significantly larger portion often burned field. This practice, prohibited for several reasons, including increased risk fire release carbon dioxide contributing to global warming, still prevalent. Given increasingly evident effects climate change, EU legislation aims reduce greenhouse gas emissions as much possible. One strategies includes applying cascade principle circular economy. use entire raw material, this case, cereal crops, such that products with highest added value, like cellulose fibers from straw, are extracted first. The vast potential utilizing lignocellulosic agro-waste sustainably arises its status most abundant organic compound on Earth. Its significant presence, renewability, biodegradability make it desirable source producing materials numerous industries. study examines wheat fibers, isolated straw two distinct cultivars (Srpanjka represents an old variety, Kraljica new variety) primarily application technical textiles. following testing methods were applied: determination residues yield, tensile properties, length, moisture content/regain, density, morphology, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. yield relies variety climatic conditions affecting plant growth, resulting fiber yields 10.91% 15.34%. analysis indicates reduced peak intensity, which related hemicellulose lignin content, suggesting their improved deposition process chemical maceration. Wheat quality was found be comparable cotton regarding density. However, they showed difference higher regain (9.72–11.40%). majority scientific papers did not indicate length individual obtained by maceration nor strength. Therefore, paper indicated both varieties demonstrated sufficient tenacity (greater than 10 cN/tex) (2–3 cm), stressing spinning these into yarns extending apparel industry. Moreover, our research underscores feasibility adhering zero-waste principle. A high percentage solid waste remaining after extraction (25.3–39.5%) successfully used biofuel production, thus closing loop

Dracaena liberica , an ornamental plant found in various African and Asian countries, has a long history of traditional medicinal use. This article aims to offer overview D. based on its taxonomic characteristics, distribution, habitat, applications, while also conducting literature review for therapeutic potential terms antioxidant, antibacterial, anticancer, antitoxicity properties. The platform used this article’s focuses materials relating plants the Genus species . Furthermore, discusses active compounds that have been identified previous studies, such as phytol, stigmasterol, linoleic acid, oleic stearic palmitic β-sitosterol, β-stigmasterol. suggests exhibit antimicrobial, antitoxic activities. Antitoxic anticancer activities are more promising than antimicrobial antioxidant Recent research highlighted roots leaves particularly sources agents. Consequently, holds great development natural medicines.
