Objectives Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a leading cause of death worldwide, emerging from combination several factors. The aim this review is to define the psychological factors that significant in development and progression these disorders. Methods Studies published through 2023 concerning adults with vulnerability and/or cardiovascular disease were selected searches PubMed, PsychINFO, Science Direct, Google Scholar. Results Psychological stress may influence CVD, other risk factors, or it can act independently, as cases workplace stress, post-traumatic disorder, Takotsubo syndrome bereavement. Coping strategies, anxiety depression have also been identified relevant cardiac patients. Adverse childhood experiences linked reduced quality life for acquired CVDs. Conclusion This demonstrates affect function. An in-depth study correlates CVDs would allow healthcare professionals design more effective prevention intervention programs.

Breast cancer survivors often report internal sensations of discomfort that influence body image or the subjective representation one's appearance, which can cause a disconnection between and personal identity. 12 breast were involved in group psychological intervention focused on management autobiographical memories related to their own after cancer. Three open questions administered pre, post 1 month later intervention. Autobiographical analyzed with qualitative methodology explore transformative process at three time points. Findings highlight main themes: (1) narratives cancer-related (2) emotion towards (3) reflections. This innovative appears support re-taking control emotions.
