This
research
aims
to
analyze
the
improvement
in
photocatalytic
properties
of
ZnO
nanoparticles
by
incorporating
Gd.
In
order
understand
influence
Gd
into
matrix,
activity
material
is
compared
at
various
concentrations.
Different
doping
concentrations
ranging
from
0
0.075
are
incorporated
and
synthesized
ZnO-Gd
nanocomposites
investigated
using
structural,
morphological,
optical
analyses
XRD,
SEM,
UV-vis
spectroscopy,
respectively.
The
performance
determined
via
degradation
organic
contaminants
under
visible
light.
Regarding
latter,
results
suggest
that
efficiency
increases
with
increasing
levels
up
an
optimal
concentration.
