Abstract Characterizing the dietary niche partitioning of sympatric mesocarnivores is fundamental for understanding their mechanisms coexistence and ecosystem function. By utilizing scat DNA metabarcoding, our study revealed a detailed picture trophic interaction between two in cool temperate forest Northeast China.
