Ethnomedicinal plants have been utilized for centuries to repel or kill insects globally. The transmission of this knowledge, primarily through village healers, has hierarchical, resulting in limited ethnobotanical documentation many herbal plant species. This study aims document the insecticidal, repellent, and larvicidal properties traditional medicinal plants. Over past two decades, various studies publications were reviewed, cataloging 25 across 12 families. Different parts these prepared applied multiple forms assess their effectiveness.
