Dysfunction of the immune response is regarded as a prominent feature neurological diseases, including neurodegenerative malignant tumors, acute neurotraumatic insult, and cerebral ischemic/hemorrhagic diseases. Platelets play fundamental role in normal hemostasis thrombosis. Beyond those functions, platelets are hyperactivated contribute crucially to inflammation responses central nervous system (CNS). Mitochondria pivotal organelles responsible for generating most ATP that used platelet activation aggregation (clumping). Notably, mitochondria show marked morphological functional alterations under heightened inflammatory/oxidative stimulation. Mitochondrial dysfunction not only leads damage apoptosis but also further aggravates responses. Improving mitochondrial function hopefully an effective strategy treating In this review, authors discuss immunomodulatory roles platelet-derived (PLT-mitos) diseases summarize neuroprotective effects transplantation.

Abstract Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in substantia nigra, leading to various motor and non‐motor symptoms. Several cellular molecular mechanisms such as alpha‐synuclein (α‐syn) accumulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress neuroinflammation are involved pathogenesis this disease. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles post‐transcriptional gene regulation. They typically about 21–25 nucleotides length regulation expression binding messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules. miRNAs like miR‐221 biological processes, including development, cell proliferation, differentiation apoptosis. promotes neuronal survival against neurite outgrowth differentiation. Additionally, role PD has been investigated several studies. According results these studies, (1) protects PC12 cells induced 6‐hydroxydopamine; (2) prevents Bax/caspase‐3 signalling activation stopping Bim; (3) moderate predictive power for PD; (4) directly targets PTEN, PTEN over‐expression eliminates protective action on p‐AKT cells; (5) miRNA‐221 controls viability apoptosis manipulating Akt pathway PD. This review study suggested that potential be used clinical biomarker diagnosis stage assignment.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative characterized by progressive loss of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) and presence Lewy bodies (LBs) or neurites (LNs) which consist α-synuclein (α-syn) complex mix other biomolecules. Mitochondrial dysfunction widely believed to play an essential role pathogenesis PD related diseases. But mitochondrial subject genetic regulation. There increasing evidence that PD-related genes directly indirectly affect integrity. Therefore, targeted regulation function has great clinical application prospects treatment PD. However, lots drugs targeting mitochondria have been developed but their therapeutic effects are not ideal. This review aims reveal diseases based on structure function, may highlight potential interventions targets for development recover
