Brazil annually faces significant challenges with mass movements, particularly in areas poorly constructed housing, inadequate engineering, and lacking sanitation infrastructure. Campos do Jordão, São Paulo state, is a city currently grappling these issues. This paper details study conducted within pilot area where geophysical surveys geotechnical borehole data were integrated. The provided 2D profiles, samples collected to analyse soil moisture plasticity. These datasets combined using Cokriging-based model produce an accurate representation of the subsurface conditions. enhanced modelling variability facilitates deeper understanding behavior, which can be used improve landslide risk assessments. approach innovative, international context similar studies often not address complexities associated urban planning deficits such as those observed some Brazil. conditions, including lack proper irregular significantly influence geological stability region, adding layers complexity Adapting evaluation methods local offers potential increase efficacy relevance management regions socio-economic characteristics.
