Purpose of the study: Out-of-field teaching is a concern that results in ineffectiveness, compromising quality education. However, there still limited extant literature available, particularly on experiences non-government junior high school teachers. This study specifically explored lived out-of-field teachers provinces Pampanga and Tarlac Philippines. Methodology: Ten basic education were tapped order to achieve purpose study. Also, maximum variation was utilized, incorporating convenience snowball techniques ensure diverse perspectives. The Colaizzi method analyzing data used through positivist view. Member checking equally observed meticulously capture core informants trustworthiness data.] Main Findings: findings unveiled both positive negative eventually clustered into five categories: (1) challenges teaching, (2) strategies overcome challenges, (3) opportunities for growth, (4) impact students, (5) areas improvement. Consistent with recent works literature, this highlights contrasting aspects teaching—its potential opportunities.
