A multi-component one pot protocol for the synthesis of quinoxalines derivatives by condensation reaction substituted isatin with o-phenylene diamine in presence palladium acetate as catalyst strong base such triphenylphosphine under conventional method has been reported. The molecular structures newly synthesized compounds were characterized elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and LCMS spectral data. presented is mild, inexpensive, highly atom economy easy work up to give products good excellent yields. All also evaluated vitro antibacterial assay against Gram-negative (Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus), Gram-positive (Salmonella typhi Bacillus subtilis) fungi (Aspergillus niger Candida albicans) pathogenic bacteria comparison standards streptomycin fluconazole.

Abstract: Quinoxaline derivatives have been incorporated into numerous marketed drugs used for the treatment of various diseases. Examples include glecaprevir (Mavyret), voxilaprevir (Vosevi), Balversa (L01EX16) (erdafitinib), carbadox, XK469R (NSC698215), and becampanel (AMP397). These quinoxaline exhibit a diverse range pharmacological activities, including antibacterial, antitubercular, antiviral, anti-HIV, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anticancer, antiproliferative, antitumor, kinase inhibition, antimicrobial, antioxidant, analgesic effects. Recognizing significance these bioactive derivatives, researchers dedicated their efforts to developing synthetic methods production. This review aimed compile most recent findings on synthesis biological properties from 2015 2023.
