Abstract:
Quinoxaline
derivatives
have
been
incorporated
into
numerous
marketed
drugs
used
for
the
treatment
of
various
diseases.
Examples
include
glecaprevir
(Mavyret),
voxilaprevir
(Vosevi),
Balversa
(L01EX16)
(erdafitinib),
carbadox,
XK469R
(NSC698215),
and
becampanel
(AMP397).
These
quinoxaline
exhibit
a
diverse
range
pharmacological
activities,
including
antibacterial,
antitubercular,
antiviral,
anti-HIV,
anti-inflammatory,
antifungal,
anticancer,
antiproliferative,
antitumor,
kinase
inhibition,
antimicrobial,
antioxidant,
analgesic
effects.
Recognizing
significance
these
bioactive
derivatives,
researchers
dedicated
their
efforts
to
developing
synthetic
methods
production.
This
review
aimed
compile
most
recent
findings
on
synthesis
biological
properties
from
2015
2023.

A
multi-component
one
pot
protocol
for
the
synthesis
of
quinoxalines
derivatives
by
condensation
reaction
substituted
isatin
with
o-phenylene
diamine
in
presence
palladium
acetate
as
catalyst
strong
base
such
triphenylphosphine
under
conventional
method
has
been
reported.
The
molecular
structures
newly
synthesized
compounds
were
characterized
elemental
analyses,
IR,
1H
NMR,
13C
NMR
and
LCMS
spectral
data.
presented
is
mild,
inexpensive,
highly
atom
economy
easy
work
up
to
give
products
good
excellent
yields.
All
also
evaluated
vitro
antibacterial
assay
against
Gram-negative
(Escherichia
coli
Staphylococcus
aureus),
Gram-positive
(Salmonella
typhi
Bacillus
subtilis)
fungi
(Aspergillus
niger
Candida
