Conversely, SO2 suppressed capacity, while simultaneous presence exhibited a synergistic effect facilitating removal Hg0. characterization X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) molecule favored anchor at Oα site, leading formation SO3. This subsequently oxidized HgSO4 instead HgO. study demonstrates cheap easily accessible applications technology may help improve sustainability circular economy positively various aspects.

Abstract Water pollution has always been an inescapable challenge in the development of human society. Photocatalytic technology is regarded to be a promising strategy for water control. In this work, novel Cu2O/TiO2@Ti3C2Tx MXene photocatalyst constructed obtain diverse electron transport pathways, thereby promoting charge separation and achieving superior photocatalytic performance. The synergistic effects composite materials are instrumental degrading organic dyes under visible light. successful construction heterojunction structure between Cu2O situ generated TiO2 mitigates recombination post-separation, significantly extending lifetime photogenerated carriers. Additionally, incorporation Ti3C2Tx serves as effective conductive medium, facilitating transfer charges within material. Therefore, composites exhibit exceptional activity, showcasing best performance, degradation rate 71.5% after 3 h light irradiation. These findings underscore potential new compound enhancing degradation, highlighting application prospects materials.
